252- A Broken Heart – 1

“A broken and a stricken heart, O God, You will not despise,” “He heals the brokenhearted.” A broken heart means that his heart is not wholly with the Creator, as it is written in the “Introduction to The Study of the Ten Sefirot” (Item 129). If he regrets his heart not being wholly with the Creator, then he has a Kli [vessel], called “a lack,” and then the Creator fills the lack.
