107- And Golan in the Bashan

Adar 1, Tav-Shin-Zayin, February 21, 1947

Bashan comes from the word Busha [shame]. Golan comes from Geula [redemption]. That is, through the shame we are redeemed.

“The Hermon and the Tavor will sing.” Tavor comes from the word Vatar, as in “the mountains of Vatar” (Song of Songs 2). Harim [mountains] are called Hirhurim [reflections], meaning thoughts that come to a person. Vatar comes from the verse, “and he cut them in the Tavech [middle]” (Genesis 15:10), where through reflections, they are cut in two, the head from the neck, and then the body loses its life.
