Daily Kabbalah Tip

Advice in the daily Kabbalah lesson is recommended, practical tasks for advancing spiritually

Forward, to the Next State!

It is not worthwhile to get stuck in the same state. It isn't effective. One needs to continue forwards to the next state.

"Israel" and "the nations of the world," are inner states that constantly change within a person. This doesn't depend on the person himself. A person only needs to step on the gas and continue forwards as much as possible, i.e., to try keeping thoughts on spiritual advancement, towards bestowal, as much as is possible. According to his endeavors, states will change in him with high frequency.

There is no need to want to stay in one state or another.  It isn't a straight path but winding and changing. The Reshimot (Reminiscences) are inner and they turn him according to his inner rotations. In any case, to stay in one state is not effective to anyone. One only needs to try to go through everything quickly, forward, to the next state.

Daily Kabbalah Definition

Definitions in the daily Kabbalah lesson guide a precise, spiritual approach to terms, & disqualify materialized corporeal definitions

Israel and Gentile, Kind of Israel and King of the Gentiles

What is the spiritual meaning of the concepts, "Israel," "gentile," "King of Israel" and "King of the gentiles"?

As long as we haven't arrived at correction, in each one of us there are states called, "gentile" and "Israel." Those who yearn to be straight to the Creator are called "Israel" and those who don't yearn for this or yearn for the opposite of this are called "nations of the world" or "gentile."

The names "King of Israel" and "King of the gentiles" are the two names of the Creator, pointing to the state that the person is in since in each one of them the Creator controls.  If a person is in a state of "Straight to the Creator" and he feels that the Creator controls him in all that he does, then in this state the Creator is called "King of Israel." And if he isn't in this, but is stuck within himself, within his desire to receive, then in this state the Creator is called "King of the gentiles." This is so since he controls the person without his knowing and without his agreement.
