Daily Kabbalah Tip

Advice in the daily Kabbalah lesson is recommended, practical tasks for advancing spiritually

To Find Elijah the Prophet

In The Zohar, only the bond between us is described and we must yearn to discover it.

We need to see ourselves as a group, as the framework of the spiritual world. First of all, we need to identify that this is what is before us. Afterwards we need to understand that what is described in the The Zohar is the bond between us, i.e., what is revealed in that bond, the connection between the parts, etc. All the inanimate, vegetative, animate and speaking that is described in The Zohar is found within the bond between us.

The Kabbalists wrote books not only to those who have attained but also to those who want to reach attainment, to those who study and yearn to know, thus inviting on themselves the Reforming Light. If I yearn to connect Malchut (kingdom) and fill it with the revelation of the Creator, then the study, my acts of connection, and my intention to reveal the Creator, transform into the centralization of one state before me and I want it to be clarified and realized in me.

Great Cohen, Wife, Virgin

What is the spiritual meaning of the writings of, "the Great Cohen will take a virgin wife"?

When a person advances on the path of spirituality, on every new level he receives for correction a new part of Malchut (kingdom), which is called "a new wife." And if he is "the Great Cohen," which means that he works for the sake of bestowal, wants to be similar to the Creator, then each time he receives a completely new desire, actually, "new ground."  This is called that he receives "a virgin wife."

In contrast to this, if he doesn't work from the aspect of intention for the sake of bestowal, but from the aspect of the act itself, then he doesn't need to renew a new level each time since he doesn't have such big changes in his desire.  Then it is called that his "wife" can also be a "widow" and also "divorced" and also "a prostitute" which are types of desires that don't completely renew but come with changes in a small amount.
