Hence, the Torah should have started being written from here, since the matter was connected to the Creator, for the moon is&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, which, when she is whole, she unites with the Creator; hence, the Torah should have begun at the start of the wholeness of the moon, which is, \u201cThis month shall be unto you the beginning of months.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>159) It is not written, \u201cThis,\u201d \u201cThis month\u201d [in feminine form], since the name of the moon is \u201cthis\u201d [in feminine form]. This is so because \u201cthis\u201d [masculine] and \u201cthis\u201d [feminine] are tied together. And where there are male and female together, the merit is only for the male. This is why it is written, \u201cThis month,\u201d [in masculine] and not, \u201cthis\u201d [in feminine]. Hence, it is written, \u201cIt shall be the first month of the year to you.\u201d \u201cMonth of the year\u201d as it concerns&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, called \u201cyear.\u201d But the merit depends on the male.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is written, \u201cThis month shall be to you,\u201d and it is written, \u201cIt shall be the first \u2026 to you.\u201d Why is it written \u201cto you,\u201d \u201cto you,\u201d twice? It is because the doubling of \u201cto you\u201d emphasizes that it is only for Israel, and not for the rest of the nations, as it is written, \u201cFor the Lord&#8217;s portion is His people.\u201d This connection of the month is for you, and not for the rest of the nations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>158) \u201cAnd the Lord said to Moses and to Aaron, \u2018This month
