The Fear of You and the Dread of You Shall Be upon All the Animals of the Earth &#8211; 1"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\u201cThe fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon all the animals of the earth.\u201d RASHI interprets that \u201cas long as a day old infant is alive, there is no need to guard him from the mice. When Og, King of Bashan, is dead, he must be guarded\u201d (Sanhedrin 98).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vitality means that all the war against the inclination is only in that it shows a person that there is vitality in corporeal matters in this world. It argues that it is not worthwhile to relinquish them in order to be rewarded with the next world. When a person is rewarded, all the corporeal animals become annulled before him because all the corporeal vitality is that which pertains to the will to receive, but when a person is rewarded with walking in the desire to bestow, they are naturally annulled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a rule that the will to receive is called \u201cdeath,\u201d and the desire to bestow is called \u201clife,\u201d since it is adhered to the Life of Lives.
