Midnight Correction"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\u201cMidnight\u201d is called \u201chalf and half,\u201d meaning in the middle of the night. \u201cNight\u201d is called \u201cdarkness,\u201d and in the middle there is darkness, called \u201chalf and half,\u201d half good and half bad, meaning that the light of&nbsp;<em>Kedusha<\/em>&nbsp;[holiness] shines for him a little bit and he also feels a little bit like he is in the darkness. This is the time for him to mourn the ruin of the Temple in general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And specifically, man\u2019s heart is called a \u201chouse,\u201d as it is written, \u201cThree things broaden one\u2019s mind: a handsome woman, a handsome abode, and handsome&nbsp;<em>Kelim<\/em>&nbsp;[vessels]\u201d (<em>Berachot<\/em>&nbsp;57b).&nbsp;<em>The Zohar<\/em>&nbsp;interprets, \u201cA handsome woman is his soul; a handsome abode is his heart.\u201d Man\u2019s heart is the house where he lives. It should be a house of&nbsp;<em>Kedusha<\/em>&nbsp;[holiness], which is to bestow upon the Creator.
