Suffering and Joy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Suffering is left line, when a person examines whether his actions are on the path of truth, in order to bestow. At that time, he sees all of his faults. This is called \u201csuffering,\u201d meaning that it pains him that he is so weak about bestowal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At that time he sees the truth, that he is unable to do anything with the aim to bestow and has no way out of his situation, and he sees that only the Creator can help him. Therefore, then he has room for prayer, to pray to the Creator from the bottom of the heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When a person engages in Torah and prayer, he should observe \u201cServe the Lord with gladness,\u201d and then he should shift to the right line, called \u201cwholeness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, one must be happy with whatever grip he has on&nbsp;<em>Kedusha<\/em>&nbsp;[holiness], that even one moment a day is to him a great possession, for when speaking of important matters\u2014which are&nbsp;<em>Kedusha<\/em>, which is Torah and&nbsp;<em>Mitzvot<\/em>&nbsp;[commandments]\u2014a person cannot evaluate even something small in quantity or quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One must be grateful to the Creator for rewarding him by giving him a thought and desire for the least thing in&nbsp;<em>Kedusha<\/em>, since he sees that he is not more worthy or important than the rest of the people, yet the Creator awarded him with this.
