{"id":11365,"date":"2025-12-10T17:11:21","date_gmt":"2025-12-10T17:11:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.kabbalah.info\/?post_type=book&#038;p=11365"},"modified":"2025-12-10T17:11:21","modified_gmt":"2025-12-10T17:11:21","slug":"pharaohs-merkavot-chariots-structures-and-his-army","status":"publish","type":"book","link":"https:\/\/www.kabbalah.info\/en\/pharaohs-merkavot-chariots-structures-and-his-army\/","title":{"rendered":"Pharaoh&#8217;s\u00a0Merkavot\u00a0[chariots\/structures] and His Army"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>259) When the Creator evokes war in the world, the upper and lower\u2014the nations below and their ministers above\u2014are uprooted from their places, as it is written, \u201cPharaoh&#8217;s chariots and his army He has cast into the sea.\u201d In the future, the Creator will wage a great and powerful war against the people, to cherish His name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>260) \u201cThe waters saw You, O God, the waters saw You and feared.\u201d When Israel crossed the sea, the Creator said to the angel appointed over the sea, \u201cSplit your waters so that My sons will pass within you.\u201d The angel replied, \u201cUnloading the account is truth,\u201d meaning forgiveness of sins is truth, since the Creator forgives and pardons iniquities. \u201cBut what is the difference between these and those? If you forgive Israel, forgive Egypt, too.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>261) The Creator told him about that condition, \u201cWhen I created the world, I made the sea on condition that it would be torn for Israel.\u201d What did the Creator do? He awakened His&nbsp;<em>Gevura<\/em>&nbsp;and the water folded, as it is written, \u201cThe waters saw You, O God, the waters saw You and feared.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Creator told the minister of the sea, \u201cKill all those multitudes, and then throw them out.\u201d Afterwards, the sea covered them, as it is written, \u201cPharaoh&#8217;s chariots and his army He has cast into the sea.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>262) The Creator made several&nbsp;<em>Merkavot<\/em>&nbsp;[chariots\/structures] above, several multitudes, and several armies. And they are all tied to one another, so each lower one is a vehicle for the one above it, degrees upon degrees. And on the left side extend dominating&nbsp;<em>Merkavot<\/em>&nbsp;that are not holy. And all of them are particular degrees above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>263) The firstborn of Pharaoh is a degree that the Creator killed and broke it off from its strong chain. Under its rule are several&nbsp;<em>Merkavot<\/em>&nbsp;[chariots\/assemblies] and several armies of strong men on the left. Some of them grip the high place of their government, some of them grip&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;above, and some grip under the four animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>264) And they are all given into the hands of the judgment of&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, called \u201cthe great sea,\u201d to break them from their degree. And when they broke from above, all those below broke and were lost in the sea below, as it is written, \u201cPharaoh&#8217;s chariots and his army He has cast into the sea.\u201d Just, \u201csea,\u201d indicates both the sea above, for their ministers, and the sea below, for the lower Egyptians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>265) \u201cAnd His chosen officers drowned in the Red Sea.\u201d And officers over all of it means that all the degrees, were two and one above, these atop those. They were made as it is above, and all were given into the hands of&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, to break their dominance, these and those, upper and lower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>266) All ten plagues with which the Creator inflicted Egypt were one hand, since the left hand was included in the right, and the ten fingers were included in each other, corresponding to the ten utterances by which the Creator is later named. And opposite all of them was the one of the sea\u2014strong, great, and ruling\u2014as it is written, \u201cPharaoh&#8217;s chariots and his army He has cast into the sea.\u201d In the future, the Creator will kill all of Edom\u2019s ministers and governors, as it is written, \u201cWho is this who comes from Edom.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>267) \u201cPharaoh&#8217;s chariots and his army.\u201d The Creator has made seven firmaments opposite&nbsp;<em>HGT<\/em>&nbsp;<em>NHYM<\/em>. In each firmament, there are fixed stars, degrees in the form of \u201cback.\u201d And stars that run through each firmament are degrees in the form of \u201cforth.\u201d And above them all are deserts, the&nbsp;<em>GAR<\/em>&nbsp;of the firmaments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>268) Each firmament has a length of two hundred years, and its height is five hundred years. Between each two firmaments, there are five hundred years, and this Aravot is fifteen hundred years in length, and fifteen hundred years in width. From his brightness, all those firmaments illuminate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The firmaments are the&nbsp;<em>Guf<\/em>&nbsp;[body],&nbsp;<em>VAK<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Ruach<\/em>&#8211;<em>Nefesh<\/em>. Aravot is&nbsp;<em>Rosh<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Guf<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>GAR<\/em>. The movement in the firmament indicates the level of its degree, and its height indicates its root. Hence, the height of all the firmaments is five hundred years, indicating their extension from&nbsp;<em>HGT<\/em>&nbsp;<em>NH<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Bina<\/em>, since&nbsp;<em>Ima<\/em>&nbsp;expands only up to&nbsp;<em>Hod<\/em>, and each&nbsp;<em>Sefira<\/em>&nbsp;in her is numbered in hundreds, hence they are five hundred years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But in the length of each firmament, which indicates the level of its degree, there are only two&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>&nbsp;there,&nbsp;<em>Ruach<\/em>&#8211;<em>Nefesh<\/em>, which are two hundred. But the upper firmament, Aravot, in which there is&nbsp;<em>GAR<\/em>, which extend from&nbsp;<em>Aba<\/em>, whose&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>&nbsp;are thousands, its length is three thousand years. This is why it was said, \u201cAnd this Aravot is fifteen hundred years in length, and fifteen hundred years in width.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Between each two firmaments are five hundred years. This is so because the firmament is essentially the new&nbsp;<em>Sium<\/em>&nbsp;[conclusion] of the second restriction at the&nbsp;<em>Sefira<\/em>&nbsp;<em>Yesod<\/em>, and is the carrier of this screen. And since each&nbsp;<em>Sefira<\/em>&nbsp;consists of seven&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>, there is a separate&nbsp;<em>Yesod<\/em>&nbsp;in each&nbsp;<em>Sefira<\/em>&nbsp;in the firmament. Hence, between each two firmaments are five&nbsp;<em>Sefirot HGT<\/em>&nbsp;<em>NH<\/em>, since after each firmament begins the&nbsp;<em>Sefira<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Hesed<\/em>&nbsp;through&nbsp;<em>Hod<\/em>, and the other firmament stands at&nbsp;<em>Yesod<\/em>. And these five&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>&nbsp;are the five hundred years from the side of&nbsp;<em>Bina<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>269) Above Aravot is a firmament of four animals: lion, ox, eagle, and man. The&nbsp;<em>Parsot<\/em>&nbsp;[plural of&nbsp;<em>Parsa<\/em>] of the holy animals and their top is as all of those below them, since the upper one contains within it all the ones below it. The ten phases opposite the ten&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>&nbsp;all correspond to the ones below them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>270) Each and every organ in the animals corresponds to seven abysses, the screens in the&nbsp;<em>Malchuts<\/em>. It also corresponds to the seven palaces, which are the seven&nbsp;<em>Malchuts<\/em>, and corresponds to \u201cfrom earth to firmament,\u201d which is&nbsp;<em>Yesod<\/em>. And it also corresponds to \u201cfrom firmament to firmament,\u201d which are&nbsp;<em>HGT<\/em>&nbsp;<em>NH<\/em>. The measure of all of them and their height is twenty-five thousand parts of the measure of the Creator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the phases in&nbsp;<em>BYA<\/em>&nbsp;are phases from the&nbsp;<em>Chazeh<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>&nbsp;downwards. This is so because the&nbsp;<em>Parsa<\/em>&nbsp;that ends the&nbsp;<em>Atzilut<\/em>&nbsp;is the&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>&nbsp;that stood at the point of this world during the first restriction, and rose to the place of half of&nbsp;<em>Bina<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>&nbsp;where it ended the&nbsp;<em>Atzilut<\/em>. And the bottom half of&nbsp;<em>Bina<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>TM<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>&nbsp;went outside of&nbsp;<em>Parsa<\/em>, and from them, all the phases in&nbsp;<em>BYA<\/em>&nbsp;are built until the end of correction, when they, too, return, connect to&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>, and become&nbsp;<em>Atzilut<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although it is said that each organ of the animals consists of seven&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>&nbsp;from the&nbsp;<em>Chazeh<\/em>&nbsp;upwards. However, as for the height of all of them compared to the Creator, who is&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Atzilut<\/em>, there is nothing in them from the&nbsp;<em>Chazeh<\/em>&nbsp;and above, but only half of&nbsp;<em>Tifferet<\/em>&nbsp;and its&nbsp;<em>NH<\/em>&nbsp;from the&nbsp;<em>Chazeh<\/em>&nbsp;down, which are twenty-five.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is so because&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>&nbsp;are ten each. And since they are established in four animals, meaning that&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>&nbsp;is revealed in them, they are considered thousands, since the&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>&nbsp;are counted in thousands, and they are twenty-five thousand. This is why it was said that the measure and height of all of them is twenty-five thousand parts of the measure of the Creator,&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Atzilut<\/em>, and there is nothing in them from the&nbsp;<em>Chazeh<\/em>&nbsp;of the Creator upwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>271) There is yet another firmament above the horns of the animals. It is written, \u201cAnd over the heads of the living creatures there was the likeness of a firmament.\u201d And below that firmament are several&nbsp;<em>Merkavot<\/em>&nbsp;[chariots\/assemblies] to the right and to the left.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>272) Under the sea, which is&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, are all the fish of the sea, swimming and gathering in their four corners,&nbsp;<em>HG<\/em>&nbsp;<em>TM<\/em>, and descending in their degree, meaning shining from above downwards, and all the&nbsp;<em>Merkavot<\/em>&nbsp;are called by their names. All this is from the&nbsp;<em>Chazeh<\/em>&nbsp;upwards of the sea, where there are big animals. Below them, the small ones go degrees over degrees. They are from the&nbsp;<em>Chazeh<\/em>&nbsp;down of the sea, which are called \u201csmall animals,\u201d as it is written, \u201cThere is the sea, great and broad, in which are swarms without number, animals both small and great.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>273) On the bottom left is the government of the other side, since \u201cGod has made one opposite the other.\u201d Thus, all that there is in the holy&nbsp;<em>BYA<\/em>, is found correspondingly on the other side. They grip those above and suckle from holiness, and now, at the tearing of the Red Sea, they came down to break because of the great force of
