He wished to bond with Moses. Moses opened his mouth with twelve carved letters of the holy Name, which the Creator had taught him at the bush and drifted twelve thousand parasangs [one parasang is roughly 2.4 miles] away from him. Thus, Moses was walking in the cloud with his eyes blazing like embers of fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is&nbsp;<em>NRNHY<\/em>&nbsp;in each degree. When Moses arrived at the degree of reception of the Torah for Israel, he had to attain the&nbsp;<em>NRNHY<\/em>&nbsp;of that degree. Also, the role of angels is to help the souls attain what they should. These angels before us, too, came to help Moses attain these great&nbsp;<em>NRNHY<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moses attained the&nbsp;<em>Nefesh Ruach<\/em>&nbsp;through the cloud itself. \u201cAnd Moses entered the midst of the cloud,\u201d like a person who is walking in the place of&nbsp;<em>Ruach<\/em>. The cloud was to him the place of obtainment of the light of&nbsp;<em>Ruach<\/em>, which is&nbsp;<em>VAK<\/em>&nbsp;without&nbsp;<em>GAR<\/em>. To help him obtain the&nbsp;<em>GAR<\/em>, Angel Kemuel appeared before him, appointed over the twelve thousand appointed messengers, the light of&nbsp;<em>GAR<\/em>, which is received by three lines in the four faces&nbsp;<em>HB<\/em>&nbsp;<em>TM<\/em>, which are twelve. And since they extend&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>, they are counted as thousands. And these twelve thousand are messengers appointed to help the soul obtain&nbsp;<em>GAR<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He wanted to bond with Moses, and Moses immediately attained the&nbsp;<em>GAR<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Neshama<\/em>, called&nbsp;<em>Peh<\/em>&nbsp;[mouth]. This is why it was said, \u201cMoses opened his mouth,\u201d meaning he was rewarded with light of&nbsp;<em>Neshama<\/em>, called \u201copening of mouth.\u201d \u201cWith twelve carved letters of the holy Name, which the Creator had taught him at the bush,\u201d since those twelve carved letters that Moses received at the bush were also considered light of&nbsp;<em>Neshama<\/em>&nbsp;according to his degree at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, the light of&nbsp;<em>Neshama<\/em>&nbsp;rejects&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>&nbsp;and clings to&nbsp;<em>Hassadim<\/em>, as it is written, \u201cBecause He desires mercy [<em>Hesed<\/em>].\u201d Hence, Moses rejected Angel Kemuel, who draws&nbsp;<em>GAR<\/em>&nbsp;in illumination of&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>, and clung to the light of&nbsp;<em>Hassadim<\/em>. This is why it was said, \u201cHe moved twelve thousand parasangs away from him.\u201d This means that the twelve faces of the soul that are governed by the light of&nbsp;<em>Hassadim<\/em>&nbsp;repel the twelve faces that are governed by&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>, which are called \u201cthousands.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHe moved twelve thousand parasangs away from him\u201d because of his desire for&nbsp;<em>Hassadim<\/em>. Also, he clung once more to that the light of&nbsp;<em>Ruach<\/em>&nbsp;in the cloud, \u201cWith his eyes blazing like embers of fire,\u201d for the illumination of&nbsp;<em>GAR<\/em>&nbsp;was not recognized in his eyes because he clung to the level of&nbsp;<em>Ruach<\/em>, where there are judgments of the screen of phase one, called \u201cembers of fire.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>299) Then he met Angel Hadarniel, who was greater and more respected than the first. He was above all other angels by 601,000 parasangs and his voice traversed 200,000 firmaments that revolve in white fire. When Moses saw him, he could not speak; he wished to drop himself from the cloud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>300) The Creator told him, \u201cMoses, is it not you who conversed extensively with Me by the bush, who wished to know the meaning of the holy Name, and you were not afraid? And now you fear one of My servants?\u201d When Moses heard the Creator\u2019s voice he regained his strength. He opened his mouth in the seventy-two letters of the upper Name, and when Hadarniel heard the letters of the holy Name from Moses, he was startled. He approached him and said, \u201cHappy are you, Moses, for what has been revealed to you has not been revealed to high angels.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After he obtained&nbsp;<em>Mochin<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Neshama<\/em>&nbsp;with the help of Kemuel, now he had to obtain&nbsp;<em>Mochin<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Haya<\/em>. Angel Hadarniel, who is greater and more respected than the first, was sent to help him with the&nbsp;<em>Mochin<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Haya<\/em>, which is more important.&nbsp;<em>The<\/em>&nbsp;<em>Zohar<\/em>&nbsp;explains the meaning of the&nbsp;<em>Gadlut<\/em>&nbsp;of Hadarniel\u2019s three lines:&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>&nbsp;is the number 1,000, and&nbsp;<em>Hassadim<\/em>&nbsp;is 10,000. It was said, \u201cHe was superior to the rest of the angels,\u201d for his importance is 601,000 parasangs\u2014600,000 parasangs on his right are&nbsp;<em>Hassadim<\/em>&nbsp;that extend from the bottom six&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Atik<\/em>, whose number is 10,000. Thus, they are 600,000. And 1,000 is on his left. This is the&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>, whose number is 1,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His voice\u2014the middle line is called \u201cvoice\u201d\u2014traverses 200,000 firmaments of upper&nbsp;<em>AVI<\/em>: 1,000 firmaments for&nbsp;<em>Aba<\/em>&nbsp;and 1,000 firmaments for&nbsp;<em>Ima<\/em>. They \u201cRevolve in white fire\u201d because&nbsp;<em>AVI<\/em>&nbsp;are in pure air, where the&nbsp;<em>Yod<\/em>&nbsp;does not exit their&nbsp;<em>Avir<\/em>&nbsp;[air] and where the lock is corrected, meaning&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;of the quality of judgment, called \u201cfire.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, since upper&nbsp;<em>AVI<\/em>&nbsp;are always in a state of desiring mercy, this fire does not blemish anything in them. This is why it is called \u201cwhite fire,\u201d for it is without any flaws. And the voice of Hadarniel, which is his middle line, draws this pure&nbsp;<em>Avir<\/em>&nbsp;of upper&nbsp;<em>AVI<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhen Moses saw him, he could not speak,\u201d for the fear of the white fire, in which he saw&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;of the quality of judgment. Because of this fear, he could not use his&nbsp;<em>GAR<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Neshama<\/em>, called \u201cspeech.\u201d Moreover, he could not even use the level of&nbsp;<em>Ruach<\/em>&nbsp;that he had from the cloud because it was from&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;that was sweetened in&nbsp;<em>Bina<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHe wished to drop himself from the cloud,\u201d since the&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;of the quality of judgment that he saw blemished the degree of the cloud, which was from&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;of the quality of mercy. And then the voice of the Creator, who is&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>, appeared to him, and this voice sweetens all the judgments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhen Moses heard the Creator\u2019s voice he regained his strength.\u201d Then, with the help of Hadarniel, he extended the&nbsp;<em>Mochin<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Haya<\/em>, and opened his mouth is the seventy-two letters of the holy Name, meaning he obtained the opening of the mouth,&nbsp;<em>GAR<\/em>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<em>AB<\/em>. And when Hadarniel heard that he had already drawn&nbsp;<em>Mochin<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>AB<\/em>, he bonded with him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>301) He was walking with him until he arrived at the fierce fire of Angel Sandalphon, who is higher than the rest of his peers by five hundred years. He stands behind his Master\u2019s veil and ties crowns to Him from the pleas of Israel. When this crown reaches the head of the holy King, He accepts the prayers of Israel and all the armies and the multitudes startle and growl and say, \u201cBlessed be the glory of the Lord from the place of His dwelling.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>302) Haderniel said to Moses, \u201cI cannot go with you, for fear that Sandalphon\u2019s fierce fire would burn me.\u201d At that very moment, Moses was startled, until the Creator held unto Moses, sat him down before Him, and taught him Torah. He covered Moses with that light and with the brightness of that pleasantness, and Moses\u2019 face illuminated through all the firmaments. And all the armies of heaven were startled before him when he came down with the Torah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sandalphon stands at the top of the world of&nbsp;<em>Beria<\/em>, below the screen of&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Atzilut<\/em>, as it was said, \u201cAnd he stood behind his Master\u2019s curtain, where he receives from the illumination of&nbsp;<em>HGT<\/em>&nbsp;<em>NH<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Bina<\/em>. The&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Bina<\/em>&nbsp;are numbered in hundreds, hence they are five hundred. It is written that he is superior to his peers by five hundred years, and he raises&nbsp;<em>MAN<\/em>&nbsp;for the coupling of&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;with&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>&nbsp;from the prayers of Israel. Also, he ties to Him crowns from pleas of Israel, and when this&nbsp;<em>Keter<\/em>&nbsp;reaches the head of the holy King, He accepts the prayers of Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And since he stands under the screen of&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;is discerned as fierce fire in him, from the judgments in screen of&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, Haderniel said to Moses, \u201cI cannot go with you, for fear that Sandalphon\u2019s fierce fire would burn me. At that very moment, Moses was startled, until the Creator held unto Moses, sat him down before Him, and taught him Torah.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a profound secret here because every time Moses was startled by Sandalphon\u2019s fierce fire, the Creator held him and taught him Torah, until the Creator taught him the whole Torah and the&nbsp;<em>Mitzva<\/em>&nbsp;[commandment]. At the completion of their disclosure, Moses was rewarded with the light of&nbsp;<em>Yechida<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>303) Since Israel sinned below, the Creator took from Moses a thousand parts of that brightness. When the Creator said to Moses, \u201cGo, get down, for your people &#8230; have corrupted themselves,\u201d the upper angels and all the multitudes wished to burn Moses. Moses was startled and could not speak until he invoked many prayers and litanies before the Creator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>304) The Creator said to him, \u201cMoses, hold on to My throne.\u201d Then the Creator reproached all those multitudes, all those armies, and then Moses took the two stone-tables and brought them down. It is written, \u201cA wise man scales the city of the mighty and brings down the stronghold in which they trust.\u201d And Moses\u2019 face illuminated from that brightness that remained in him. And as much as they could not look at his face from what remained in him, it was several times more impossible for them to look at what departed him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>305) \u201cYour right hand, O Lord, majestic in power.\u201d This is the Torah, which glorifies the right. Hence, \u201cYour right hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy.\u201d There is nothing in the world that breaks the force of idol worshipping nations as when Israel engage in Torah. As long as Israel engage in Torah, the right strengthens and the power and courage of the idol worshipping nations breaks. This is why the Torah is called \u201cstrength,\u201d as it is written, \u201cThe Lord will give strength to His people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>306) When Israel do not engage in Torah, the left intensifies and the power of the idol worshipping nations grows. They suckle from the left, rule over Israel, and inflict upon them laws that they cannot endure. Because of that, Israel were exiled and scattered among the nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>307) Why was the land lost? The Creator said, \u201cFor abandoning My law.\u201d As long as Israel engaged in Torah, the power and courage of all the idolaters was broken, as it is written, \u201cYour right hand, O Lord, shatters the enemy.\u201d As long as the voice of Israel was heard in synagogues and seminaries, as it is written, \u201cThe voice is the voice of Jacob.\u201d And if not, \u201cThe hands are the
