The Fruit of Torah"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>A Sage\u2019s Fruit<\/em>, Part 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She has nothing of her own except that which others give her.&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, called \u201cwill to receive,\u201d is forbidden to receive for herself, meaning into her own quality, due to the&nbsp;<em>Tzimtzum<\/em>&nbsp;[restriction]. By not wanting to receive, to extend into her own quality, she receives from others what they bestow upon her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is as it is written, \u201cIn return for \u2018And Moses hid his face for he was afraid to look,\u2019 he was rewarded with \u2018The image of the Lord does he behold\u2019\u201d (<em>Berachot<\/em>&nbsp;7a). In other words, specifically by not wanting to receive into his own quality and wanting to go above reason, he was rewarded with the&nbsp;<em>Daat<\/em>&nbsp;[reason\/knowledge] of&nbsp;<em>Kedusha<\/em>&nbsp;[holiness], and from this comes all the proliferation.
