Scrutinies in the Work"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\u201cBruria found that disciple who was learning in a whisper. She kicked him and said to him, \u2018Is it not written, \u2018ordered in all things and kept\u2019? If it is ordered in one\u2019s 248 organs, it is kept.\u2019 That disciple who was learning in secret, Bruria kicked him and said, \u2018Ordered in all things; if it is ordered in one\u2019s 248 organs, it is kept in the heart\u2019\u201d (<em>Iruvin<\/em>&nbsp;54a).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSecret\u201d means that he has still not been rewarded with \u201chearing,\u201d called \u201cvoice.\u201d \u201cKicked\u201d means awakening. \u201cBeruria\u201d is the&nbsp;<em>Beruriut<\/em>&nbsp;[scrutinies] of the work. \u201cOne\u2019s 248 organs\u201d are the entire level, from&nbsp;<em>Chazeh<\/em>&nbsp;and above, which is covered&nbsp;<em>Hassadim<\/em>&nbsp;[mercies], meaning bestowal. Revealed&nbsp;<em>Hassadim<\/em>&nbsp;are from the&nbsp;<em>Chazeh<\/em>&nbsp;downward, which is reception in order to bestow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two discernments: 1) bestowal, 2) reception in order to bestow. \u201cBestowal\u201d is when one engages in Torah and&nbsp;<em>Mitzvot<\/em>&nbsp;[commandments] in a manner of bestowal, and he still does not taste the taste of&nbsp;<em>Mitzvot<\/em>. Reception in order to bestow means that he already feels the flavor of Torah and&nbsp;<em>Mitzvot<\/em>, but he receives that flavor in order to bestow.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cBruria found that disciple who was learning in a whisper.
