She Opened Her Mouth with Wisdom"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\u201cRabbi Elazar said, \u2018Why is it written, \u2018She opened her mouth with wisdom and the Torah [law] of mercy was on her tongue\u2019? There is Torah of mercy and there is Torah that is not of mercy. Torah&nbsp;<em>Lishma<\/em>&nbsp;[for Her sake] is Torah of mercy.&nbsp;<em>Lo Lishma<\/em>&nbsp;[not for Her sake] is Torah that is not of mercy. That is, Torah in order to bestow is called mercy, the quality of&nbsp;<em>Hassadim<\/em>&nbsp;[mercies].\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt is said, \u2018Torah to teach is Torah of mercy; not to teach is Torah that is not of mercy\u2019\u201d (<em>Sukkah<\/em>&nbsp;49).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We should understand why if he does not teach others, it is regarded as not being of mercy.
