Discernments in States"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A \u201cservant\u201d is called a \u201cgiving force.\u201d A \u201chandmaid\u201d is called a \u201creceiving force.\u201d A&nbsp;<em>Zivug<\/em>&nbsp;[coupling] is the force that connects the receiving force with the force of giving so it will be receiving in order to bestow. An \u201coffshoot\u201d is that by which one is rewarded with a soul, which is a part of God above, meaning that the person feels it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Creator makes the&nbsp;<em>Zivug<\/em>, meaning that the Creator helps the receiving force yield to the giving force and makes it able to receive in order to bestow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When a person makes a&nbsp;<em>Zivug<\/em>, meaning by a person, without the Creator\u2019s help, no offspring will come out of the&nbsp;<em>Zivug<\/em>&nbsp;because they cannot connect. Therefore, one becomes lame and one becomes blind, as Raba said, \u201cI beseech you, do not inherit a double Hell.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA man and a woman, if they are rewarded, the&nbsp;<em>Shechina<\/em>&nbsp;[Divinity] is between them.\u201d We should ask, If they are opposite, how can there be peace between them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is specifically when one becomes worthy, when he inverts reception into bestowal, called \u201creceiving in order to bestow,\u201d there is peace between them. Otherwise, they are in dispute or that one yields before the other.
