Unless the Creator helps him, he will always remain in his lowliness, and the words, \u201cWere it not for the Creator\u2019s help, he would not overcome it,\u201d will not come true in him, as in \u201cThe Lord will finish for me.\u201d Instead, the whole world will be providing for him and he will always need people. Conversely, one who walks in the path of the Creator and not in the path of the world is rewarded with being favored by the Creator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is specifically one who needs the help of the Creator, as it is written, \u201cHe who comes to purify is aided\u201d (Shabbat<\/em> 104a). The Zohar<\/em> interprets, \u201cWith what? With a soul,\u201d where the Creator gives him a holy soul, and with that force he can purify himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This is the meaning of \u201cRewarded more, he is given Ruach<\/em>,\u201d meaning each time, he wants to be more cleansed, purer, and the assisting force of Nefesh<\/em> is not enough for the purity he thinks he needs before he received the soul of Kedusha<\/em> [holiness].<\/p>\n\n\n\n But after he receives the soul of Kedusha<\/em>, he feels that there is more place to work in purity, and the assisting force that he received is not enough to determine to the side of purity. Therefore, he prays and asks once more for help from above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In that state, he must be given more power than he was given before.
