What Is \u201cRun Away, My Beloved,\u201d in the Work?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I heard on&nbsp;<em>Tammuz<\/em>, July 1944<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We should know that when one begins to walk on a path of wanting to come to do everything for the sake of the Creator, he comes to states of ascents and descents. Sometimes he comes to such a great decline that he has thoughts of escaping Torah and&nbsp;<em>Mitzvot<\/em>&nbsp;[commandments], meaning thoughts come to a person that he has no desire to be in the domain of&nbsp;<em>Kedusha<\/em>&nbsp;[holiness].<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In that state, one should believe that it is to the contrary, meaning that it is the&nbsp;<em>Kedusha<\/em>&nbsp;that runs away from him. The reason is that when one wants to blemish the&nbsp;<em>Kedusha<\/em>, the&nbsp;<em>Kedusha<\/em>&nbsp;moves forward and runs away from him first.
