What Is \u201cThe Lord Is High and the Low Will See\u201d? &#8211; 1"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I heard on&nbsp;<em>Shabbat Terumah<\/em>, March 5, 1949, Tel-Aviv<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Lord is high and the low will see.\u201d How can there be equivalence with the Creator when man is the receiver and the Creator is the Giver? The verse says about this, \u201cThe Lord is high and the low\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If one annuls oneself, then one has no authority that separates him from the Creator. In that state, one \u201cwill see,\u201d meaning he is imparted&nbsp;<em>Mochin de Hochma<\/em>, \u201cand the high will know from afar.\u201d However, someone with pride, meaning one who has his own authority, is distanced, since he lacks the equivalence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lowliness is not considered one\u2019s lowering oneself before others. This is humbleness, and one feels wholeness in this work. Rather, lowliness means that the world despises him.
