395) Is evil not wicked? The name \u201cevil\u201d is dedicated to one who ejaculates semen in vain. And he is always remembered for worse, from that spirit of impurity, called \u201cbad.\u201d This is why he causes the departure of the Shechina, since when the spirit of impurity visits him, the Shechina promptly departs, as it is written, \u201cand the satisfied shall dwell, he shall not be visited by evil.\u201d It means that when one walks on the straight path and does not fail with the abovementioned iniquity, then \u201che shall not be visited by evil.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is why it is written, \u201conly evil the whole day.\u201d It is also written, \u201cNo evil dwells with You,\u201d since this is called \u201cbad,\u201d and not a wicked one.
