Raise a Contribution for Me \u2013 1"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>February 1980<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cRaise a contribution for Me.\u201d RASHI interprets \u201cfor me\u201d as \u201cfor My name.\u201d \u201cFrom every man whose heart is willing.\u201d RASHI interprets, \u201cWords of donation are words of good will. \u2018You shall raise My contribution.\u2019 \u2018Take\u2019 means against their will, which contradicts \u2018whose heart is willing,\u2019 which means voluntarily and not by coercion.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is written in&nbsp;<em>The Zohar<\/em>&nbsp;that&nbsp;<em>Truma<\/em>&nbsp;[contribution\/donation] means&nbsp;<em>Tarum<\/em>&nbsp;[raise]&nbsp;<em>Hey<\/em>&nbsp;[the letter], meaning we must raise the&nbsp;<em>Hey<\/em>, which is&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>. It is also written in&nbsp;<em>The Zohar<\/em>&nbsp;that&nbsp;<em>Teshuva<\/em>&nbsp;[repentance] means&nbsp;<em>Tashuv<\/em>&nbsp;[return]&nbsp;<em>Hey<\/em>&nbsp;[the letter] to the&nbsp;<em>Vav<\/em>, meaning that a person must raise the&nbsp;<em>Hey<\/em>, which is regarded as the&nbsp;<em>Shechina<\/em>&nbsp;[Divinity] in the dust. We must raise the&nbsp;<em>Shechina<\/em>&nbsp;from the dust, meaning that the quality that is called \u201cfor the sake of the Creator\u201d is in exile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since man is built from the desire to receive for himself\u2014and the desire to bestow is under the control of the will to receive, and one cannot aim anything to be in order to bestow, since the will to receive controls him\u2014one who wishes to walk on the path of truth must do everything where he does not see self-benefit, and he must overcome and do everything that is connected to&nbsp;<em>Kedusha<\/em>&nbsp;[holiness], which is called \u201cyou shall take my contribution,\u201d against your will, without the body\u2019s consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is called \u201cHe is forced until he says, \u2018I want.\u2019\u201d When he says, \u201cI want,\u201d this is called \u201crepentance,\u201d meaning that he cannot do anything voluntarily until the Creator helps him and gives him the spirit of repentance. This is called \u201cLet the&nbsp;<em>Hey<\/em>&nbsp;return,\u201d relating to his&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, which is the point of&nbsp;<em>Tzimtzum<\/em>&nbsp;[restriction], on which, namely on the will to receive, was the correction of the&nbsp;<em>Masach<\/em>&nbsp;[screen].<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At that time, as the&nbsp;<em>Vav<\/em>&nbsp;of the name&nbsp;<em>HaVaYaH<\/em>&nbsp;is called a \u201cGiver,\u201d so his will to receive achieves the quality of bestowal, and then he can make a contribution, meaning lower his&nbsp;<em>Hey<\/em>.
