And Say a Matter"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\u201c\u2018And say a matter.\u2019 Let your speech of Shabbat [Sabbath] not be as your speech of a weekday\u201d (<em>Shabbat<\/em>&nbsp;113a). Shabbat is called&nbsp;<em>Kedusha<\/em>&nbsp;[holiness], a Shabbat of holiness.&nbsp;<em>Hol<\/em>&nbsp;[weekday] means matters that are&nbsp;<em>Holanim<\/em>&nbsp;[sickly], which are the acts of the body. There is a time when we speak from the quality of the body, its bad thoughts, desires, and feelings, and how we must correct them so it is able to receive&nbsp;<em>Kedusha<\/em>, and this is called \u201cthe work on weekdays,\u201d namely the correction of the body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, there is a time when we speak only of matters of&nbsp;<em>Kedusha<\/em>, which is generally called \u201cthe greatness of the Creator.\u201d The speech of Shabbat should come from this quality, from speaking from the perspective of wholeness and holiness, and not from the perspective of the body, which is secular and not holy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201c\u2018And say a matter.\u2019 Let your speech of Shabbat [Sabbath] not be as your speech of a weekday\u201d (Shabbat&nbsp;113a).
