It is one who breaches the commandments of the Torah. If he wants to be corrected before his master, that the judgment of above will not control him, this is what he should give. He should give this, ZA, and bring him near with that, Malchut, and shine a light to her so she does not burn the world with her flames.

This is so because one who breaches the commandments of the Torah separates this from that, and then that place, Malchut, must be corrected, and to raise the head before the judgment, to draw GAR, and the judgment will not govern him.

2. The courthouse of above does not punish a person before he is twenty years old, since at that time, he is completed in two parts, in the part of the Creator and in the assembly of Israel, which is Malchut, since twenty years correspond to the ten Sefirot of ZA and the ten Sefirot of Malchut.

Hence, if at that time, he breaches a commandment, to whom should he give? To the place against which he sinned, this, ZA, he should give. And to whom should he extend? Half a shekel, which is Yesod, as it is written, “the shekel is twenty gerahs; the half-shekel shall be a contribution to the Lord.”

3. The Creator and the assembly of Israel, ZA and Malchut, are called “one.” When the assembly of Israel is in exile, it is not called “one.” Hence, half a shekel, ten gerahs, is Yod, Yesod, that he should extend and shine in the place he has blemished, in Malchut.

4. This is a ransom for his soul, since his soul has the letters of Nefesh, Vav, which is the courthouse, Malchut, which called the Nefesh of ZA, of Vav. She is atoned for and the judgment departs from her for half a shekel. This is good, Yesod of ZA, which shines for her, and when the two of them are adhered together, it is good, Yesod, Nefesh, Malchut, and then it is called “the shekel of the holiness.” Silver, the king’s right, Hesed, awakens to shine to the contribution of the Hey, Malchut.

5. This is why Moses prayed at the time of the judgment, and now let the power of Hey grow, grow with a big Yod, Yesod, which is called “half a shekel,” and connect with Malchut, connect with the shekel of the holiness and the two of them will be one whole shekel. When both of them unite, all the courthouses at the gate of the Temple, Malchut, depart, so as not to pass judgment, since he has given a ransom for his soul, since Nefesh is Malchut, and Yesod is a ransom for his Nefesh [soul].

6. That ransom is in order to atone for the ten tribes that sold Joseph, Yesod, separated this, ZA, from that, Malchut, and breached the commandment of their master. For this reason, the shekel of twenty gerahs corresponds to the one who lives in a foreign land, Joseph, who departed from the holy land and was sold for twenty.

And the children of Israel did not raise their heads from that time because of that iniquity. The Creator said to Moses, “If you want to raise their heads up, they should give all, meaning Yesod, which is called “all.”

7. The righteous, Yesod, Joseph, is called “all.” The assembly of Israel, Malchut, the tenth of all the Sefirot, is incorporated in Yesod, and they approach one another. At that time, they are called “shekel of the holiness.” Since he is half a body, and the assembly of Israel is half a body, when they unite, the body is completed.

8. The twelve upper tribes under the sea, Malchut, each suckle from its own place, as it is written, “This they shall give.” “This” has the count of twelve, that they adhere around the upper Tabernacle, Malchut. At that time, they will have raising of the head, since the head of the staff, which is Malchut, adhered to the place of the one who guards the Yod, Joseph, Yesod, guardian of the covenant.

When Joseph went to the next world and a Yod was added to him, as it is written, “and he was put in a coffin in Egypt,” where “and he was put” is written with two letters Yod [in Hebrew].

9. By Moses being born in [the Hebrew month of] Adar, Joseph departed from Egypt, as it is written, “And Moses took Joseph’s bones,” and Israel had a raising of the head. This is why on Adar, there is the giving of these shekels, to raise their heads up and bring the holy lights of the king closer to their place.

And right, Hesed, awakens in the world, and the lords of the Tabernacle existed with their corrections, and “that,” Malchut, came with a record of the righteous, Yesod, Yod, which adheres to her with all the holy lights above, when the half shekel was given, coins of silver, since then they unite with one another.

10. For this reason, the incense comes to revoke the judgment and revoke the death since it connects Malchut in the place called “this,” Yesod. The incense and all the offerings come from that half shekel that each one from Israel gives. Then, Malchut is the contribution of the Lord, when she is elevated to connect with ZA.

11. It is written, “Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is found by way of righteousness.” “A crown of glory” is the contribution of the Hey, Malchut, since the Oral Torah, Malchut, crowns the Written Torah, ZA, because she is the place that is revealed by illumination of Hochma, to reveal secrets and interpret its corrections through a crown, which is a mirror in which everyone is revealed. They are revealed in a place called “way of righteousness,” which is the one that shines for her, Yesod, righteous. At that time, “it is found,” the light of the Written Torah, of ZA.

12. This is why it is called “a contribution to the Lord,” since it raises His banner above all, as it is written about Him, “The Lord is great and highly praised in the city of our God.” When is He great and crowned in His crowns? In the city of our God, in Malchut. At that time, the light of Atik Yomin shines, Keter, in ZA, and is crowned in order to adhere to the holy city, Malchut, as it is written, “Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is found by way of righteousness,” and it is drawn to the place called “righteousness,” Malchut, and the white, Hesed, shines into red, judgment.

ZA is always in Hassadim that are covered from Hochma, except when it connects with Malchut to bestow Hochma in her. At that time, the Hochma shines in him, as well.

The crown of glory is the contribution of the Hey, Malchut, who is the crown of Tifferet, ZA, since the Oral Torah, Malchut, crowns the Written Torah. Malchut crowns him with illumination of Hochma since for itself, it is in concealment of Hochma. Hence, “she is found” indeed, the light of the Written Torah, meaning that illumination of Hochma will be found in ZA, too.

When is ZA regarded as great and crowned in his crowns, which are illuminations of Hochma? In the city of our God, when he is connected with the city of our God, Malchut, in order to bestow in her illumination of Hochma. At that time, the Hochma is in him, too.

13. Then, when he is connected with Malchut, to bestow illumination of Hochma in her, as well, sixty mighty men shine from him, and twelve tribes. For this reason, sixty tenths are included in one vessel since they are all from the left side, and twelve are not included in them since they suckle from the branch of the tree, from the middle line, as it is written, “This they shall give.” “This,” counted as twelve,” will give to all, to the branches around the tree, seventy branches corresponding to the seventy ministers of the nations. For this reason, all the nations are atoned for through the offerings of Israel.

1. “This they shall give, anyone who is counted: half a
