Korah did not sin against the Creator. On the contrary, he said that \u201cThe whole congregation are all holy,\u201d and all that he said about Moses was that he said that Moses fabricated from his heart, and not from the Creator. If he were certain that it were from the Creator, he would not dispute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thus, why did he deserve such a harsh punishment that they had to create a special punishment specifically for him, to the point that the punishment is against nature, when the earth opened its mouth and he went down to Sheol alive?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is known that the Creator repays an eye for an eye. Since the sin was against Moses, who is the loyal shepherd, and this quality comes from the lower one, for faith, meaning concealment, comes from the lower one\u2014while only revelation comes from the upper one\u2014when Moses wanted to show that we must walk in the ways of faith, which is above reason, and Korah did not agree, for this reason, Moses had to extend a punishment that is also above reason, a new creation, something that is unnatural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This was in order for everyone to know that the punishment came to them not because of some other sin, but specifically because of the sin of not wanting to go above reason.
