Raising\u00a0MAN\u00a0\u2013 2"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Question: Raising&nbsp;<em>MAN<\/em>&nbsp;is regarded as raising a deficiency upward. Thus, why does he write that raising&nbsp;<em>MAN<\/em>&nbsp;is called&nbsp;<em>Mitzvot<\/em>&nbsp;[commandments] and good deeds?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>MAN<\/em>&nbsp;is called \u201ca deficiency.\u201d But what does the lower one lack by which to add abundance in the world? When one engages in Torah and&nbsp;<em>Mitzvot<\/em>, the Torah and&nbsp;<em>Mitzvot<\/em>&nbsp;first create&nbsp;<em>MAN<\/em>&nbsp;in a person, meaning he receives a deficiency and sees that he is lacking Torah and fear of heaven because of the concealment and hiding in the world due to the&nbsp;<em>Tzimtzum<\/em>&nbsp;[restriction]. At that time, a person receives a lack and raises that lack upward so as to be filled. It therefore follows that through the Torah and&nbsp;<em>Mitzvot<\/em>, a person receives&nbsp;<em>MAN<\/em>, and he elevates that&nbsp;<em>MAN<\/em>&nbsp;and causes revealing in all the worlds.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Question: Raising&nbsp;MAN&nbsp;is regarded as raising a deficiency upward.
