A Shoe"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A shoe is something by which one buys a possession. The shoe is placed on the leg, and&nbsp;<em>Raglaim<\/em>&nbsp;[legs] are regarded as&nbsp;<em>Meraglim<\/em>&nbsp;[spies]. The shoe is placed on the feet, and then the legs do not hurt when they want to hold a person up, for legs mean that the person stands on his legs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What does it mean that the legs on which a person stands will not be harmed? Also, why was it said about Moses, \u201cTake your shoes off your feet,\u201d if a shoe means that he is wearing the argument of the spies? And accordingly, what will be the meaning of \u201cTake off your shoes\u201d?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We should say that&nbsp;<em>Raglecha<\/em>&nbsp;[your legs] comes from the word&nbsp;<em>Reglilut<\/em>&nbsp;[habit\/custom], meaning that which comes to a person by education. In order not to lose his education, he needs a&nbsp;<em>Naal<\/em>&nbsp;[shoe] from the word&nbsp;<em>Man\u2019ul<\/em>&nbsp;[lock], meaning to close. However, with the quality of Moses, who is the Torah, it is the opposite, from the word&nbsp;<em>Min\u2019al<\/em>&nbsp;[shoe\/footwear], meaning that there we must throw away the shoes and accept everything in the way of the Torah.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A shoe is something by which one buys a possession.
