Whose Heart Makes Him Willing"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I heard on the eve of Shabbat,&nbsp;<em>Beresheet<\/em>, October 1942<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the verse, \u201cfrom every man whose heart makes him willing, you shall take My donation.\u201d This is the meaning of \u201cthe substance of a donation from sanctity.\u201d In other words, how does one come to a state of offering? Through sanctity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means that if one sanctifies oneself with the permitted, he thus comes to a state of donation, which is the&nbsp;<em>Shechina<\/em>&nbsp;[Divinity], called \u201cmy donation.\u201d This is the meaning of \u201cof every man whose heart makes him willing,\u201d all of his heart, meaning if he donates all of his heart, he is rewarded with My donation, to adhere to the&nbsp;<em>Shechina<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the verse, \u201cin the day of his espousals and in the day of the gladness of his heart,\u201d espousals mean being of inferior degree, which is lowliness.
