The Difference between the Six Workdays and Shabbat"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I heard<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The six workdays are considered&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>, and Shabbat [Sabbath] is considered&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>. And he asked, \u201cBut&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>&nbsp;is a higher degree than&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, so why is Shabbat more important than the weekdays? And also, why are they called&nbsp;<em>Yemey Hol<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/kabbalahmedia.info\/en\/sources\/FWrR48Bb#fn1\"><sup>1<\/sup><\/a>&nbsp;[weekdays\/days without holiness]?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The thing is that the world is nourished only through&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>. This is why&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;is called \u201cthe assembly of Israel,\u201d since all the good influence to the whole of Israel comes from there. Therefore, although the six days imply&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>, there is no unification between&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>. This is why it is called&nbsp;<em>Hol<\/em>[not holy], since no abundance extends from&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>&nbsp;to&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And when no&nbsp;<em>Kedusha<\/em>&nbsp;[holiness] extends from&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, it is therefore called&nbsp;<em>Yemey Hol<\/em>. Conversely, on Shabbat there is a unification of&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, and then&nbsp;<em>Kedusha<\/em>&nbsp;extends from&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>. This is why it is called Shabbat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Yemey<\/em>\u2014days;\u00a0<em>Hol<\/em>\u00a0comes from the word\u00a0<em>Hulin<\/em>\u2014secular, not holy.<a href=\"https:\/\/kabbalahmedia.info\/en\/sources\/FWrR48Bb#fnref1\">\u21a9<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I heard The six workdays are considered&nbsp;ZA, and Shabbat [Sabbath] is considered&nbsp;Malchut.
