An Explanation to Elisha&#8217;s Request of Elijah"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I heard<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elijah asked him: \u201cWhat I shall do for you?\u201d And he replied, \u201ca double portion of your spirit.\u201d And he replied, \u201cYou asked a hard thing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The thing is that there is the sorting of the 288, and there is the stony heart, which cannot be scrutinized. However, when sorting the 288, the stony heart, too, is thus sorted, though it is forbidden to touch it itself.
