The matter of the Achoraim<\/em> [posterior] concerns primarily the absence of light of wisdom, which is the essence of the vitality, called \u201cdirect light.\u201d And this light was restricted so as not to come to disparity of form. This is why ZON<\/em>have no GAR<\/em> when they are not corrected, so the Sitra<\/em> Achra<\/em> [other side] would not draw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yet, since there is a lack of GAR<\/em>, there is fear that the external ones will have a grip, since they enjoy wherever there is a deficiency in the Kedusha<\/em> [holiness], since they come and ask the \u201cwhere\u201d question, and it is unrealistic to answer this question before there is Hochma<\/em> [wisdom]. Hence, there is a correction to ZON<\/em>: They rise and become included in Bina<\/em>, considered \u201cfor he desires mercy,\u201d and rejects Hochma<\/em>, while Bina<\/em> herself has no need for Hochma<\/em> since her own essence is Hochma<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is called following their rav\u2019s view in everything, that their whole foundation is their root, meaning their rav\u2019s view. And the question, \u201cWhere is the place of His honor?\u201d is irrelevant there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And they are in Bina<\/em> until they are corrected by raising MAN<\/em> of efforts and labors, until they are purified from reception for themselves. Then they are fit to receive Hochma<\/em>, and only then are they permitted to disclose their own quality, as they are deficient since they do not have Hochma<\/em>, and to accept the answer, to extend the light of Hochma<\/em> to shine in them by way of illumination of Hochma<\/em>. In that state, they are in their own authority and not in the authority of Bina<\/em> since they have light of wisdom, and light clears and expels the external ones. And perhaps this is the meaning of \u201cKnow what to answer the heretical.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is called \u201cone wall,\u201d meaning the Achoraim<\/em> of Bina<\/em>, which is enough for both, and which is a shield from the Sitra Achra<\/em>. In other words, by relying oneself on the view of one\u2019s rav, by being one with one\u2019s rav, it means that the wall that his rav has, being \u201cdesiring mercy,\u201d is enough for him, too.
