Haman Pockets"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I heard on Purim Night, after reading the&nbsp;<em>Megillah<\/em>, March 3, 1950<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Concerning the eating of the&nbsp;<em>Haman Tashim<\/em>, meaning Haman\u2019s Pockets,<a href=\"https:\/\/kabbalahmedia.info\/en\/sources\/FWrR48Bb#fn1\"><sup>1<\/sup><\/a>&nbsp;he said that since \u201cman must be intoxicated on Purim until he cannot tell between the evil Haman and the blessed Mordecai,\u201d we eat Haman Pockets, so we remember that Haman did not give us more than pockets, called&nbsp;<em>Kelim<\/em>[vessels], and not the interior. This means that it is only possible to receive Haman\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Kelim<\/em>, and not the lights, called \u201cinternality,\u201d since the big vessels of reception are in Haman\u2019s domain, and this is what we must take away from him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, it is impossible to extend lights with the&nbsp;<em>Kelim<\/em>&nbsp;of Haman. This occurs specifically through the&nbsp;<em>Kelim<\/em>&nbsp;of Mordecai, which are vessels of bestowal. But there was a&nbsp;<em>Tzimtzum<\/em>&nbsp;[restriction] on the vessels of reception. This is explained in the verse: \u201cAnd Haman said in his heart, \u2018Whom would the king delight to honor more than me?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is called \u201ca real will to receive.\u201d This is why he said \u201cLet royal apparel be brought which the king uses to wear, and the horse that the king rides upon,\u201d etc. But in truth, Haman\u2019s&nbsp;<em>Kelim<\/em>, called \u201cvessels of reception,\u201d do not receive anything due to the&nbsp;<em>Tzimtzum<\/em>. All he has is a desire and a deficiency, meaning he knows what to demand.
