The Lord Is High and the Low Will See &#8211; 2"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I heard on Shabbat&nbsp;<em>Teruma<\/em>, March 5, 1949, Tel-Aviv<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Lord is high and the low will see.\u201d How can there be equivalence with the Creator when man is the receiver and the Creator is the Giver? The verse says about that, \u201cThe Lord is high and the low will see.\u201d If one annuls oneself, no authority separates him from the Creator, and then he will \u201csee,\u201d meaning he will be awarded&nbsp;<em>Mochin<\/em>&nbsp;[lights] of&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>&nbsp;[wisdom].<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAnd the high will know from afar.\u201d One who is proud\u2014who has his own authority\u2014is far because he lacks the equivalence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lowliness does not imply lowering oneself before others; this is humbleness, and one feels wholeness in this work. Lowliness means that the world despises him. It is precisely when people despise him that it is considered lowliness, and then one does not feel any wholeness, since it is a law\u2014what people think affects a person.
