1) \u201cThis is the statute of the law.\u201d \u201cAnd this is the law that Moses set before the sons of Israel.\u201d These are holy words of Torah. They are superior; they are sweet, as it is written, \u201cThey are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold, and sweeter than honey.\u201d One who engages in Torah, it is as though he stands by Mount Sinai each day and receives the Torah, as it is written, \u201cThis day you have become a people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) It is written here, \u201cAnd this is the statute of the law.\u201d It is also written, \u201cThis is the law,\u201d and it is not written, \u201cThe statute of.\u201d What is the difference between them? \u201cThis is the law\u201d is to show that all is in one unification, to include the Assembly of Israel, Malchut<\/em>, in the Creator, ZA<\/em>, so all will be one. For this reason, \u201cAnd this is the law.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why is there an added Vav<\/em> to \u201cAnd this\u201d? It is to show that all is one without separation. \u201cAnd this\u201d includes general and particular together, male and female together, since Vav<\/em> is male, ZA<\/em>, general, and \u201cthis\u201d is female, the Malchut<\/em>, particular. This is why it is written, \u201cAnd this is the law,\u201d indicating ZA<\/em> and Nukva<\/em> in one unification. But \u201cthis\u201d without the added Vav<\/em> is the statute of the law, Malchut<\/em>, which is called \u201cstatute,\u201d coming from ZA<\/em>, who is called Torah [\u201claw\u201d and \u201cTorah\u201d are synonymous]. Yet, not the Torah herself, ZA<\/em>, but only the Din<\/em> [judgment] of Torah, the decree of Torah, which is Malchut<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) It is written, \u201cThis is that which pertains to the Levites.\u201d It does not write, \u201cAnd this\u201d with a Vav<\/em>, since they come from the side of Din<\/em>, from the left side, Malchut<\/em>, which is built from the left and not from the side of Rachamim<\/em>, ZA<\/em>. This is why it writes \u201cthis\u201d without a Vav<\/em>, Malchut<\/em> without ZA<\/em>. However, it is written, \u201cAnd do this to them that they may live,\u201d \u201cThis\u201d with a Vav<\/em>. This is said of the Levites, for the Levites are \u201cthis,\u201d and not \u201cAnd this.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course they are \u201cAnd this,\u201d since one who grips to the potion of death is certain to die unless he mingles the potion of life in it. This is why it is written, \u201cAnd do this to them that they may live,\u201d so that \u201cthis,\u201d Malchut<\/em>, the tree of death, would conjoin with the Vav<\/em>, ZA<\/em>, the tree of life, and they would not die, since the potion of life is mingled in him. For this reason, \u201cAnd do this to them that they may live and not die,\u201d since they need \u201cAnd this\u201d and not \u201cthis.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is why the words, \u201cAnd this is the law\u201d indicates that it is actually in one unification, complete unification, male and female included in one, Vav<\/em>–Hey<\/em>. But only \u201cthis\u201d without the Vav<\/em> [and] is the Hey<\/em> alone without the Vav<\/em>, Malchut<\/em> without ZA<\/em>.
