And cleave your soul with fear, love, and humility, lest your aim will be to become a rabbi and a leader, for this is truly idol-worship. Hence, my brothers, my sons, dear souls, sublime and elevated, cleave your souls to&nbsp;<em>The Book of Zohar<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\">Rav Yitzhak Yehuda Yehiel Safrin of Komarno,<br><em>Notzer Hesed&nbsp;<\/em><em>[Keeping Mercy<\/em>], Chapter 4, Teaching 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also said that he asked his rav to be saved from pride and constantly pleaded to him about that. He told him \u201cStudy&nbsp;<em>The&nbsp;<\/em><em>Zohar<\/em>,\u201d and he replied, \u201cI am studying&nbsp;<em>The&nbsp;<\/em><em>Zohar<\/em>.\u201d And his rav replied, \u201cStudy&nbsp;<em>The&nbsp;<\/em><em>Zohar<\/em>&nbsp;a great deal.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\">Rav Pinhas Shapira of Kuritz,<br><em>Midrash Pinhas<\/em>, 36, Item 73<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Saying&nbsp;The Zohar&nbsp;can purify the heart.
