Ancient Kabbalists perfected&nbsp;<em>Gematria&nbsp;<\/em>to a point that they could (and did) describe the whole of creation and the Creator-creation relationship using&nbsp;<em>Gematria<\/em>, as the following sections demonstrate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Gematria&nbsp;<\/em>is an expression of the state of a&nbsp;<em>Kli&nbsp;<\/em>that discovers the Creator. The&nbsp;<em>Kli&nbsp;<\/em>discovers Him within its own structure. The&nbsp;<em>Kli&nbsp;<\/em>is made of 10&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>. These 10&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>&nbsp;are divided into the tip of the letter&nbsp;<em>Yod<\/em>, and then the letters&nbsp;<em>Yod<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Hey<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Vav<\/em>, and&nbsp;<em>Hey<\/em>&nbsp;again. This four-letter structure is known as the&nbsp;<em>tetragrammaton&nbsp;<\/em>(in Greek),&nbsp;<em>HaVaYaH<\/em>&nbsp;(in Hebrew), and Yaweh or JHVH or Jehovah (in English).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first&nbsp;<em>Sefira<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Keter<\/em>, belongs to the tip of the&nbsp;<em>Yod<\/em>; the second&nbsp;<em>Sefira<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>, to the&nbsp;<em>Yod<\/em>; and the third&nbsp;<em>Sefira<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Bina<\/em>, to&nbsp;<em>Hey<\/em>. The next&nbsp;<em>Sefira<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>, contains six internal&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>:&nbsp;<em>Hesed<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Gevura<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Tifferet<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Netzah<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Hod<\/em>, and&nbsp;<em>Yesod<\/em>. All those&nbsp;<em>Sefirot&nbsp;<\/em>are contained in the letter&nbsp;<em>Vav<\/em>. And the last&nbsp;<em>Hey&nbsp;<\/em>is&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, which is also the last&nbsp;<em>Sefira<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>_____________________________________________________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tidbits<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kabbalah.info\/eng\/content\/view\/clean\/60186\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kabbalah.info\/var\/kbl\/storage\/images\/kabbalah\/nauka_kabbala\/spryyt_ktby_mqoblym\/mihael_lajtman\/sprym\/a_guide_to_hidden_wisdom_of_kabbalah\/introduction\/sidebars\/tidbits\/1139396-1-eng-GB\/tidbits_small.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We already said that there is no bad in Kabbalah; it\u2019s all a question of how we relate to the situations we\u2019re in. Pharaoh is considered an evil force. But Kabbalists inverted the Hebrew letters of the name Pharaoh, and found that it really meant&nbsp;<em>Oref H&nbsp;<\/em>(the posterior side of the Creator). In other words Pharaoh is really the Creator, harshly goading you to progress to spirituality because you are not pushing yourself hard enough. If you push harder, you will find that Pharaoh is really your friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>___________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a matter of fact,&nbsp;<em>HaVaYaH&nbsp;<\/em>isn\u2019t just the structure of one&nbsp;<em>Kli<\/em>; it is the structure of every&nbsp;<em>Kli<\/em>\u2014and of everything there is, was, or will be. It is the building-blocks of existence. Like a hologram, however small you cut it, you\u2019ll always get a structure of 10 complete&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>, contained in&nbsp;<em>HaVaYaH<\/em>. This is also why these four letters comprise the word&nbsp;<em>havayah&nbsp;<\/em>(a generic term that in Hebrew means existence, being).<a><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Abraham Took It Personally (and so can you)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s important to understand that there is a relationship between the letters,&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>, and the&nbsp;<em>Kli&nbsp;<\/em>because, in Kabbalah, a person\u2019s name stands for a person\u2019s spiritual&nbsp;<em>Kli<\/em>. Abraham, for instance, stands for a very specific kind of relationship between the Creator and creation. Abraham stands for a soul that made a certain kind of correction. When he was born, his name was Abram. But after he made the correction of turning his desires from egoistic to altruistic, he changed his name to Abraham. The added&nbsp;<em>h&nbsp;<\/em>stands for adding the&nbsp;<em>Hey&nbsp;<\/em>of&nbsp;<em>Bina&nbsp;<\/em>to his name, the Creator\u2019s quality of altruism.
