And as the Torah begins with&nbsp;<em>Bet<\/em>, the world was created in&nbsp;<em>Bet<\/em>. This is so because before the Creator created the world, the&nbsp;<em>Nukva<\/em>, all the letters came before Him and entered one at a time in reverse order, in the order of&nbsp;<em>Tav<\/em><em>&#8211;<\/em><em>Shin<\/em><em>-Reish-<\/em><em>Kof<\/em>&nbsp;and not in the order of&nbsp;<em>Aleph<\/em><em>-Bet-Gimel-<\/em><em>Dalet<\/em><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3) The letter&nbsp;<em>Tav<\/em>&nbsp;came before Him and said, \u201cYou wish to create the world with me.\u201d The Creator replied, \u201cI do not, since many righteous are destined to die in you. It is written about it, \u2018And set a mark [Hebrew:&nbsp;<em>Tav<\/em>] upon the foreheads of the men,\u2019 and it is written, \u2018And begin at My sanctuary\u2019; do not pronounce, \u2018At My sanctuary,\u2019 but rather, \u2018At My sanctified,\u2019 who are the righteous. This is why the world will not be created in you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4) The three letters,&nbsp;<em>Shin<\/em><em>&#8211;<\/em><em>Kof<\/em><em>-Reish<\/em>, approached each on his own. The Creator told them, \u201cYou are unfit for the world to be created in you for you are the letters used for reading&nbsp;<em>Sheker<\/em>&nbsp;[deceit\/falsehood], and a lie is unworthy of rising before Me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5) The letters&nbsp;<em>Peh<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Tzadik&nbsp;<\/em>approached, and so did all of them until they reached the letter&nbsp;<em>Chaf<\/em>. When the&nbsp;<em>Chaf<\/em>&nbsp;descended from the&nbsp;<em>Keter&nbsp;<\/em><em>[Keter<\/em>&nbsp;written with&nbsp;<em>Chaf<\/em>&nbsp;in Hebrew], the upper ones and the lower ones were shaken, until everything came to exist in the letter&nbsp;<em>Bet<\/em>, which is the sign for&nbsp;<em>Beracha<\/em>&nbsp;[blessing], and in it, the world was perfected and created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6) But the&nbsp;<em>Aleph<\/em>&nbsp;is the head of all the letters, so should the world not have been created with it? Yes, indeed, but since&nbsp;<em>Arur<\/em>&nbsp;[cursed] is read with it, the world was not created in it. Thus, although&nbsp;<em>Aleph<\/em>&nbsp;is a letter from above, the world was not created in it so as to not give strength and fortification to the&nbsp;<em>Sitra Achra<\/em>, who is called \u201ccursed,\u201d hence the world was not created in her. Instead, the world was perfected and created in&nbsp;<em>Bet<\/em>.<a><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Letter Bet<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Shmini<\/em>&nbsp;[On the Eighth Day]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4) Why is the letter&nbsp;<em>Bet<\/em>&nbsp;[\u05d1] open on one side and closed on the other side? When a person comes to join with the Torah, it is open to receive him and partake with him. And when a person shuts his eyes to her and goes by another way, she is blocked from the other side, like the&nbsp;<em>Bet<\/em>, as it is written, \u201cIf you forsake me for one day, I will forsake you for two days,\u201d and he will not find the opening until he reconnects with the Torah face-to-face and will not depart it. Hence, the Torah opens, calling upon people and declaring and summoning them, \u201cTo you, O men, I call.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5)&nbsp;<em>Bet<\/em>&nbsp;has a shape of two roofs and one line that connects them. One roof points up, toward the heaven, and this is&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>, and one roof points down toward the earth, and this is&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>. And the Creator,&nbsp;<em>Yesod<\/em>, grips them and receives them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6) The three upper lights, three lines, which are clung together are the whole of the Torah, and they open doors to all. They open doors and impart upon faith, meaning&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, and they are home to all. This is why they are called, \u201chouse,\u201d since they are the three lines in the&nbsp;<em>Bet<\/em>, implying the three lines of&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>, which are a house. And this is why the Torah begins with&nbsp;<em>Bet<\/em>, since she is the Torah, and the cure for the world.<a><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Five Outlets of the Mouth<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Lech Lecha<\/em>&nbsp;[Go Forth]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>79) \u2026And those four elements, which are four&nbsp;<em>Behinot<\/em>&nbsp;[discernments],&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Bina<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Tifferet<\/em>, and&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, spread into twenty-two letters that come out of the five outlets of the mouth:&nbsp;<em>Aleph-Het-Hey-Ayin<\/em>&nbsp;from the throat;&nbsp;<em>Bet-Vav-Mem-Peh<\/em>&nbsp;from the lips;&nbsp;<em>Gimel-Yod-Chaf-Kof<\/em>&nbsp;from the palate;&nbsp;<em>Dalet-Tet-Lamed-Nun-Tav<\/em>&nbsp;from the tongue; and&nbsp;<em>Zayin-Samech-Shin-Reish-Tzadik<\/em>&nbsp;from the teeth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those five outlets correspond to&nbsp;<em>Keter<\/em>.&nbsp;<em>HB<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>TM<\/em>&nbsp;are the four elements\u2014water, fire, wind, and dust. The four elements are the five outlets of the mouth, in which the twenty-two letters spread.<a><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Letters\u2014Males and Females<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>VaYetze<\/em>&nbsp;[Jacob Went Out]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>261) All twenty-seven letters in the [Hebrew] alphabet are male and female, included in one another as one. The letters that belong to the right and to the left are males and those that belong to the middle line are females. The male letters impart upper water, and the female letters raise&nbsp;<em>MAN<\/em>, and everything bonds and becomes one. This is the complete unification. Hence, one who knows how to make those unifications and is cautious with aiming them, happy is he in this world and in the next world because this is the essence of the complete unification as it
