The Quality of Joseph"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\u201cJacob sat.\u201d RASHI interpreted, \u201cJacob sought to sit in peace; Joseph\u2019s anger jumped on him. Righteous seek to sit in peace. The Creator says, \u2018Is it not enough for the righteous what awaits them in the next world, but they also seek to sit in peace in this world?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We should ask, since our sages said many times, \u201cHappy are you in this world and happy are you in the next world,\u201d so why does the Creator say, \u201cIs it not enough for the righteous what awaits them in the next world?\u201d etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We should say that \u201cthis world\u201d is called&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, which is a vessel of reception. The \u201cnext world\u201d is called&nbsp;<em>Bina<\/em>, which is a vessel of bestowal. Thus, it is not enough that they engage in vessels of bestowal in order to bestow, they also want to be rewarded with reception in order to bestow. This is called \u201cJoseph\u2019s anger jumped on him,\u201d who is the middle line, the&nbsp;<em>Sefirot<\/em>&nbsp;<em>NHY<\/em>, called&nbsp;<em>NHY<\/em>&nbsp;of the&nbsp;<em>Kelim<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>GAR<\/em>&nbsp;of the lights.
