One Who Walks along the Way"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\u201cRabbi Yehoshua Ben Levi said, \u2018One who walks along the way without company should engage in Torah, as was said, \u2018For they are a graceful accompaniment\u2019\u2019\u201d (<em>Iruvin<\/em>&nbsp;54). We should understand what it means that we need company when we set out on the road. To interpret this in ethics, \u201cthe road\u201d means \u201cthe path of the Creator,\u201d and \u201ccompany\u201d means&nbsp;<em>Dvekut<\/em>&nbsp;[adhesion], as it is written, \u201cNow this time my husband will accompany.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It tells us that one who walks on the path of the Creator and does not have&nbsp;<em>Dvekut<\/em>, the advice is that he should engage in Torah, since the reason he has no&nbsp;<em>Dvekut<\/em>&nbsp;is that he still has evil in his heart.
