It is written about them, \u201cAnd they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn the many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.\u201d Happy are they in this world and in the next world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those who adhere to the Creator in truth, their will guides them to walk in their work as is established above in the upper worlds, as it is written, \u201cAnd Abram went as the Lord commanded him.\u201d Hence, when they later look into their will, they know the high secrets, for they are looking at the tilts in their desires and know how the high secrets are determined above.<a><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>They Who Govern the Will of Their Hearts<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>VaYera<\/em>&nbsp;[The Lord Appeared]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>239) \u201cAnd these are the nations which the Lord left, to test Israel by them.\u201d I was looking at that eternal world, and the world stood only on those righteous who reign over their hearts\u2019 desire. It is said, \u201cHe appointed it in Joseph for a testimony.\u201d Why was Joseph rewarded with that virtue and kingship? For he had conquered his inclination. This is because we learned that all who reign over their inclination, the kingdom of heaven awaits them.<a><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Tower of Babel and Common Will<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Noah<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>384) \u201cAnd the Lord said, \u2018Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language.\u2019\u201d \u201cAnd it came to pass when they journeyed from the east.\u201d \u201cFrom the east means from the ancient one of the world.\u201d \u201cThat they found\u201d means that they found a finding from the secrets of the wisdom of the first ones, the generation of the flood, who were shaken there. In this wisdom that they found, they tried to do the work that they did to defy the Creator. Also, they would utter with their mouths swears to the high ministers. And they did the work\u2014the construction of the city and the tower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>385) \u201cThey are one people, and they all have the same language.\u201d And because they are all of the same heart and same will, and speak the holy tongue, \u201cAnd now nothing which they purpose to do will be impossible for them,\u201d and there is no one who can prevent their actions. \u201cBut,\u201d said the Creator, \u201cWhat I shall do is I shall confuse the degrees above and their tongue below, and then their work will be arrested.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>386) Because they were of one will and one heart, and spoke the holy tongue, it is written, \u201cNothing which they purpose to do will be impossible for them,\u201d and the upper&nbsp;<em>Din<\/em>&nbsp;[judgment] cannot rule over them, we, or the friends who are engaging in Torah.
