The Thoughts of a Gentile and Those of Israel"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\u201cIsrael\u201d is one who engages in&nbsp;<em>Mitzvot<\/em>&nbsp;[commandments]. A \u201cgentile\u201d means idol-worship, the bad in him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Israel\u2019s bad thought is that he engages in Torah and&nbsp;<em>Mitzvot<\/em>&nbsp;not for the sake of the Creator. Israel\u2019s good thought is that his thought is to engage for the sake of the Creator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A gentile\u2019s bad thought means that he sees that he does not want to engage in Torah and&nbsp;<em>Mitzvot<\/em>&nbsp;because he has no faith. A thought that is Israel means that his thought is for the sake of the Creator. Yet, in fact, he does not have the aim for this, for the heart does not agree to this, and he thinks that the act of love is called \u201cthe feeling in the heart.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cIsrael\u201d is one who engages in&nbsp;Mitzvot&nbsp;[commandments].
