The voice, Malchut, is in exile until you come to her, since you are her voice, since Malchut is speech and Moses is ZA, the voice of the speech, and the speech is the daughter of the voice. She is called “daughter” because every woman is her husband’s daughter, as it is written, “and she was like a daughter to him.” This is why she is called Bat Kol [daughter of voice]. She is engaged to you because you have still not entered the Hupa [wedding canopy] with her, the redemption.

69. It is written, “The betrothed young woman cried out, but there was no one to save her.” Similarly, the Shechina, the upper mother, cries out over her children, Israel, but there is no one to save her, to bring them out to redemption, until the middle pillar, ZA, who is the savior, comes for her. It is written about her, “Behold, your king is coming to you, righteous and having salvation.”

He is the savior above, and you below. Since you are in the form of ZA, it is written about you, “And you, stand here with Me.”

All of Israel returned to their tents, and you did not, until the last redemption. Who caused this? the mixed-multitude. Because of whom, it is written, “and threw the tablets out of his hands.” From that time on, the Shechina fell and was not redeemed from the mixed-multitude, of whom it is written, “And the mixed-multitude also went up with them.” And in all this, they do not part from Israel, and the maidservant does not separate from her mistress until the last redemption.

70. You are a king’s son, such as your example, we learned in the middle pillar, in everything. Your joy will be as His joy when He comes to redeem the Shechina, as it is written that he is like a bridegroom coming out of his Hupa.

In exile, her garments are dark. When she wears them, she says, “Do not see me that I am dark.” These shells are destroyer, anger, and wrath, which are HGT of the shells, meaning the male of the shell, which contains them. His evil Nukva, the evil handmaid, is Shabtai [Saturn], of whom it is written, “a handmaid that inherits her mistress,” which is the Shabbat [Sabbath] the queen.
