The Name\u00a0Shadai"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The matter of creation is as it is interpreted in&nbsp;<em>The Zohar<\/em>: The world was created with [the letter]&nbsp;<em>Bet<\/em>&nbsp;and not in the other letters, meaning that when He created the world with the&nbsp;<em>Bet<\/em>, His intention was that the&nbsp;<em>Bet<\/em>&nbsp;would govern in the world, that its power would work in the world. Also, Jacob\u2019s blessing was similar, that He gave power to Menashe and Ephraim that their quality would reign in the world, for through those two qualities the whole of Israel emerged from the general exile. It is likewise with every personal exile; he emerges individually from exile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the meaning of \u201cMy name in the midst of him,\u201d meaning the name&nbsp;<em>Shadai<\/em>, which is&nbsp;<em>Yesod<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>. Conversely, the quality of&nbsp;<em>Tav<\/em>&nbsp;is regarded as&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, which has the quality of&nbsp;<em>NRN<\/em>, where even complete righteous are punished by it. For this reason, He did not create the world under the governance of the&nbsp;<em>Tav<\/em>&nbsp;(See,&nbsp;<em>The Zohar<\/em>, Part One, p 26 in the&nbsp;<em>Sulam<\/em>&nbsp;[Ladder commentary on&nbsp;<em>The Zohar<\/em>] in Hebrew).
