The Need for Gentiles"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\u201cDo not say in your heart\u2026 \u2018Because of my righteousness\u2026 to inherit the land,\u2019 but it is because of the wickedness of the nations that the Lord is dispossessing them. \u2026 It is not for your righteousness or the integrity of your heart that you are going to inherit their land, but it is because of the wickedness of the nations that the Lord is driving them out before you, which the Lord swore to your fathers\u201d (Deuteronomy 9:4-5).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We should ask: If the Creator is giving the land because of the wickedness of the nations and not because of the righteousness of Israel, does it mean that were it not for the wickedness of the nations, the Creator would not give the land to Israel?
