198) There is a Merkava<\/em> below NHY<\/em> de<\/em> ZA<\/em>, and it is Matat, called \u201cthe small Adam [man].\u201d In his Merkava<\/em>, which is the PARDESS<\/em>, the water of the Torah is pursued like a river whose water is pursued and run with great force to the side of the sea. The fourth letter, Dalet<\/em>, is a silent voice, Malchut<\/em>, where the king comes. It is Adam, to sit on the throne, since Malchut<\/em> is Adam sitting on the Matat\u2019s throne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

201) There are two letters Yod<\/em> [\"Yod\"] in the shape of the Aleph<\/em> [\"Aleph\"]. The upper Yod<\/em> is upper water, ZA<\/em>, and the lower Yod<\/em> is lower water, Malchut<\/em>. There is only a hairsbreadth between them: the Vav<\/em> [\"Vav\"] in the middle of the shape of the Aleph<\/em>, slanted between the two letters Yod<\/em>. It is a firmament, the Masach<\/em>, dividing between water and water, so there is division between the female and the male.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the combination, YAHDONHY<\/em>, the combination of the two names HaVaYaH ADNI<\/em>. The upper Yod<\/em> of the combination is the upper water, males. The bottom Yod<\/em> of the combination is the lower water, females. HaVaYaH<\/em> is ZA<\/em>; ADNI<\/em> is Malchut<\/em>. When they are in a Zivug<\/em>, the two names intermingle and the combination YAHDONHY<\/em> comes out. At that time ZA<\/em> is discerned primarily in the first Yod<\/em> of the combination, upper Hochma<\/em>. Malchut<\/em> is discerned primarily in the bottom Yod<\/em> of the combination, the lower Hochma<\/em>, and all six letters between them imply Yesod<\/em>, which designates ZA<\/em> and Malchut<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On weekdays, Matat serves to unite ZA<\/em> and Malchut<\/em> in the place of Yesod<\/em>, which is why it was said that the six letters between the upper Yod<\/em> and the lower Yod<\/em> imply Matat, since it speaks of the unification of the weekdays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

202) Yod<\/em> is a point, upper Hochma<\/em>. Vav<\/em> is a wheel that rolls in six Sefirot<\/em>, HGT<\/em> NHY<\/em>. There is no motion in the wheel in VAK<\/em> when it counts as six, except in that point, for she receives all that is in HGT<\/em> NHY<\/em> from that Yod<\/em>. That point is the unification of everything, and testifies to that unification, Ein Sof<\/em>, for whom there is no second. The sages have explained that it must be unified so as to crown him over the heaven and the earth, and over the four directions of the world. This is Aleph<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bet<\/em> is heaven and earth, ZA<\/em> and Malchut<\/em>. Malchut<\/em> is three, the pillar that carries them, Yesod<\/em>. Dalet<\/em> is the four animals of the Merkava<\/em>. Hey<\/em> is the throne, Malchut<\/em>. Vav<\/em> is six steps to the throne, HGT<\/em> NHY<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aleph<\/em> Bet<\/em> Gimel<\/em> Dalet<\/em> Hey<\/em> Vav<\/em> Zayin<\/em> Het<\/em> Tet<\/em> are Adam, the upper nine of ZA<\/em>. Yod<\/em> is his unification, Malchut<\/em>, the tenth Sefira<\/em> of ZA<\/em>, called Adam, HaVaYaH<\/em> filled with the letters Aleph<\/em>, which are Adam in Gematria<\/em> (45).
