228. Rabbi Shimon wept as before and said, \u201cWould it be in our hands to reveal the high secrets, which is a joy to the Creator since He wishes to reveal high secrets in this generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
229. Since it is written, \u201cDraw me,\u201d why is it written \u201cThe king has brought me into his chambers\u201d? It should have written \u201cbring me to your chambers, and for this, we will rejoice and delight in You, so why is it written \u201cbrought me\u201d?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
230. However, the upper ones, lower ones, and all the worlds are dependent on the letters, and the connection of the matters is a connection of praise to the light, by which Malchut praises herself, and for which she said to her husband, the middle line in the shape of the Aleph, \u201cDraw me with You.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite what she said, she wants to be praised before Him, for although she is below him, in lowliness, since she is the bottom Yod under the middle line of the Aleph and lies under it, she says to Him, \u201cI am not so lowly, for although I am like that with You, the king has brought me into His chambers; behold, I am important and have favor with the upper king, Bina, without lowliness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
231. Since He has brought me into His chambers,\u201d in what place? In the first Hey of HaVaYaH, Bina. This is so because the expansion of above, of the upper king, is the first Hey, and the one who enters him is me. For this reason, I am greatly praised and in importance and respect, although in You, I am in lowliness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
232. But I have no regard for this. Rather, I want to be in lowliness in You, and that You will control me. Hence, although I will be with you in more lowliness, I and the armies will rejoice and delight in You. We have joy and good will being with You, and not to part from You, since every joy and good will is only in You, for a woman has no joy and good will unless with her husband, and not with her mother or father. For this reason, \u201cThe king has brought me into his chambers,\u201d and I received joy and good will only in You.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are two states in Malchut. In the first state\u2014the two great lights, when she is as big as ZA\u2014they both receive from one source, from Bina, but ZA receives from the right line of Bina, and Malchut receives from the left line of Bina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since she received from the left without right, Hochma without Hassadim, she could not tolerate it since Hochma does not shine without Hassadim. This is the complaint of the moon, until she was told, \u201cGo and diminish yourself,\u201d and she came to the second state, a dot under Yesod of ZA, and the screen of ZA diminishes her with the judgments in it, and lowers her so she can no longer receive anything from Bina. For this reason, she has nothing of her own except what she receives from ZA her husband.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although in the second state, Malchut is in diminution, she receives Hochma and Hassadim from ZA her husband, and shines in wholeness. Conversely, in the first state, although she is big and receives from Bina herself, she could not shine due to lack of Hassadim.
