What Is Purim"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>At a Purim meal, March 1, 1953<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Concerning Mordechai and Haman, Mordechai is regarded as \u201crighteous,\u201d meaning that he has no need to extend light of&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>, but he is rather always in a state of bestowing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is known that no illumination comes down without an awakening from below. Hence, when the Creator wanted to give Mordechai the great lights, He asked Haman, \u201cWhat should be done with the man whom the king wishes to honor?\u201d Afterward, the king told him, \u201cAnd do so to Mordechai the Jew.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In other words, the lights of Haman must be accepted in the&nbsp;<em>Kelim<\/em>&nbsp;[vessels] of Mordechai and not in the&nbsp;<em>Kelim<\/em>&nbsp;of Haman.
