Three Discernments in the Torah"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>May 16, 1975, Bnei Brak<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are three discernments in the Torah: 1)&nbsp;<em>Tushia<\/em>, which&nbsp;<em>Mateshet<\/em>&nbsp;[exhausts] a person\u2019s strength, 2) the Torah as a spice, 3) the light of Torah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first two discernments are regarded as a preparation to receive the Torah. Only the third discernment is called \u201cTorah,\u201d which is the essence, in the sense of doing good to His creations.
