{"id":15292,"date":"2026-01-15T15:54:09","date_gmt":"2026-01-15T15:54:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.kabbalah.info\/?post_type=book&#038;p=15292"},"modified":"2026-01-15T15:54:09","modified_gmt":"2026-01-15T15:54:09","slug":"the-correction","status":"publish","type":"book","link":"https:\/\/www.kabbalah.info\/en\/the-correction\/","title":{"rendered":"The \u201cCorrection\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Q: What is the correction, and who must be corrected?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A:<\/strong> The desire to enjoy that was created by the Creator is called a \u201ccreature,\u201d or the \u201csubstance\u201d of creation. However, this desire cannot be fulfilled in its primary form, because as soon as one is filled with pleasure, the joy vanishes. The intent of the Creator from the start was to make the desire complete. However, this only happens when the intent resembles the Creator\u2019s attribute of bestowal by one\u2019s free choice. Because this attribute is not limited in its use by emotions, man can attain perfection and eternity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Man, the objective of creation, is obliged to transform the will for self-enjoyment into the will to please the Creator. When one acquires this intent, the desire to enjoy becomes equal to the Creator\u2019s desire to give. In conclusion, the creature brings self to perfection by the correct use of its only attribute \u2013 the reception of pleasure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Changing the intent of one\u2019s desire involves several phases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Avoiding using desire in its original form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Isolating from one\u2019s desire to enjoy only those desires worthy, in quantity and quality, to be used to please the Creator.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spiritually coupling with, and discovering, the Creator. (Possible only through the isolation of the desire, with a corrected aim).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The first two corrections are called \u201ccircumcision,\u201d and, like all other corrections, are not performed by the creature but by the Creator, meaning a higher spiritual degree than his current one. The creature never has the strength to perform a self-correction. Man\u2019s goal is simply to arrive at the desire to be corrected \u2013 to send out a prayer, a plea for correction \u2013 and the Upper Degree (the Creator) will perform it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Q: What is the correction, and who must be corrected?
