870) \u201cHear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.\u201d Shema<\/em> [hear] has the letters Shin<\/em>–Mem<\/em>, a big Ayin<\/em>, and a big Dalet<\/em> in Ehad<\/em> [one]. These are Ed<\/em> [witness]. Between the Shin<\/em>–Mem<\/em> from Shema<\/em>, which is Malchut<\/em>, called Shem<\/em> [name], and the Aleph<\/em>–Het<\/em> from Ehad<\/em>, which is ZA<\/em>, are the big letters Ayin<\/em>–Dalet<\/em> [Ed<\/em> (witness)], as it is written, \u201cThe Lord is witness against you.\u201d And likewise, He is a witness of every one who unifies Him in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is why David said, \u201cI will delight in the Lord,\u201d since the Shin<\/em>–Mem<\/em> from Shema<\/em>, Malchut<\/em>, and Aleph<\/em>–Het<\/em> from Ehad<\/em>, ZA<\/em>, are Esmach<\/em> [I will delight]. This is the unification of ZA<\/em> and Malchut<\/em> in Gadlut<\/em>, since Malchut<\/em> in Gadlut<\/em> is called \u201cname.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

871) The big Dalet<\/em> in Ehad<\/em> implies the four chambers of the Tefillin<\/em>. He puts them Aleph<\/em>–Het<\/em> in the Ehad<\/em>, ZA<\/em>, crowns himself in them, and they are glory on his head. They are the combination, Yod<\/em>–Hey<\/em>–Hey<\/em>–Vav<\/em>. Yod<\/em> is Hochma<\/em>, a crown over the Hey<\/em>, the daughter, Malchut<\/em>, as it is written, \u201cThe Lord established the earth with wisdom.\u201d Abba<\/em> [father], Hochma<\/em>, established the daughter, Malchut<\/em>, earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second Hey<\/em> of the combination, Yod<\/em>–Hey<\/em>–Hey<\/em>–Vav<\/em>, is upper Ima<\/em>, a crown over the Vav<\/em>, the son, ZA<\/em>, as it is written, \u201cEstablished the heaven with Tevuna<\/em> [intelligence]. ZA<\/em>, heaven, receives the Mochin<\/em> from Tevuna<\/em>, upper Ima<\/em>, since Ima<\/em> established the son. This is the meaning of the next world, Bina<\/em>, has neither eating nor drinking in it.
