For this reason, eating and drinking from the ninth of the month, which is&nbsp;<em>Yesod<\/em>, is then more than on another day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Hochma<\/em>&nbsp;cannot be revealed unless harsh&nbsp;<em>Dinim<\/em>&nbsp;appear with her, to shower on the heads of the wicked so they do not extend the&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>&nbsp;from above downward. And because the light of&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>&nbsp;is the light of life, it \u201cwill be cut off from its people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201dOn the tenth of the month\u201d is&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, as there is the place of disclosure of&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>, for there is no disclosure of&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>&nbsp;in any&nbsp;<em>Sefira<\/em>&nbsp;but&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>. The matter depends only on the&nbsp;<em>Nefesh<\/em>, which is considered&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, for only there is the place of disclosure of&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>, and nowhere else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this reason, when the&nbsp;<em>Dinim<\/em>&nbsp;appear in her, she can receive&nbsp;<em>Hochma<\/em>&nbsp;from&nbsp;<em>Yesod<\/em>&nbsp;<em>de<\/em>&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>, for there no fear of the wicked sucking from her anymore. By receiving the five torments on&nbsp;<em>Yom Kippur<\/em>&nbsp;she is fit to receive eating and drinking from&nbsp;<em>Yesod<\/em>. Likewise, the house of David is&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cO house of Jacob, come let us walk in the light of the Lord,\u201d as it is written, \u201cAnd a river went out from Eden to water the garden.\u201d The river,&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>, waters the garden,&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>. He planted the garden to play in it with the righteous who are in it. It is written about it, \u201cHouse of Jacob,\u201d&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>, \u201cCome let us walk in the light of the Lord,\u201d&nbsp;<em>ZA<\/em>, who waters&nbsp;<em>Malchut<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>239) It is written, \u201cBut on the tenth of the seventh month it is the day of atonement, a holy reading it shall be to you, and you will torment your souls.\u201d It is also written, \u201cAnd it shall be an everlasting statute unto you; in the seventh month, on the tenth of the month you will torment your souls.\u201d It does not write there, \u201cBut on the tenth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The word \u201cbut\u201d comes to diminish, because it is written, \u201cAnd you will torment your souls on the ninth of the month in the evening.
