I the Lord am destined to avenge the wicked in the future, the ones of whom it is written, \u201cWho transgress against Me.\u201d Why is it written, \u201cI the Lord,\u201d indicating&nbsp;<em>Midat ha Rachamim<\/em>, and it is also written, \u201cI put to death, and I bring to life,\u201d which indicates&nbsp;<em>Midat ha Din<\/em>? Although I am in&nbsp;<em>Midat ha Rachamim<\/em>, the wicked make me into&nbsp;<em>Midat ha Din<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Lord God is the full name:&nbsp;<em>HaVaYaH<\/em>&nbsp;[the Lord] is&nbsp;<em>Rachamim<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>Elokim<\/em>&nbsp;[God] is&nbsp;<em>Din<\/em>. If they are rewarded,&nbsp;<em>HaVaYaH<\/em>; if they are not rewarded,&nbsp;<em>Elokim<\/em>. The wicked ones are blemishing above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>397) It is written, \u201cAnd you shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness during her menstrual impurity.\u201d The generation with whom Rabbi Shimon is present are all worthy. They are all pious and fear sin; the&nbsp;<em>Shechina<\/em>&nbsp;is among them. But this is not so in other generations. This is why these matters are clarified and are not hidden in his generation. It is not so in other generations, and words of high secrets cannot be revealed.
