65. The Creator watches everything and observes all the actions. He brings everyone to judgment, whether good or bad, as it is written, \u201cFor God shall bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
66. How much should one beware of one\u2019s iniquities, so as not to sin before the holy king? If a person commits a transgression against the words of Torah, the transgression ascends before Him and says, \u201cI am from so and so, who has committed me.\u201d The Creator appoints it, and it stands there, to watch it, to destroy him, as it is written, \u201cAnd when the Lord saw it, He spurned them, because of the anger of His sons and daughters,\u201d and He saw that transgression that stands before Him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
67. If he repents, it is written, \u201cThe Lord has also removed your sin; you shall not die.\u201d He removed that sin from before Him so as not to look at it, and to do good to him. This is why it is written, \u201cDo not look on the stubbornness of this people, or on their wickedness or their sin,\u201d so He would not look at them. From this, it means that it is written, \u201cYour iniquity is marked before Me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
68. \u201cThe man said, \u2018The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me some of the fruit of the tree, and I ate.\u2019\u201d This means that Adam and Eve were created together, adhered to one another in one body, as it is written, \u201cwhom You gave to be with me,\u201d and it is not written, \u201cwho is standing before you.\u201d Had it been written, \u201cwhich is given to you,\u201d it would be so, as with the words \u201cgave to be with me.\u201d However, it is written, \u201cstands,\u201d which means that she was standing alone and not adhered to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
